Youth Skilling Project

Plavio Uganda train teen mothers, school dropouts , orphans , girls and women living with HIV/AIDS. The tailoring skills training is provided to equip them with the knowledge and know-how to handle business opportunities and future job endeavors.

Plavio Uganda believes that personal development, education and vocational skills development are the way to end poverty. The project equips the trainees with start up capital like sewing machines at the end of the training.

We believe that if the capital is given to them, they can never lack even after they get back home because at least there is where to start from.

We equally advocate for a better future for youth in Uganda through all the activities and projects we do and in line with the national need for vocational training, we support economic development, by creating partnerships and projects to inform, educate and train youth in Uganda and worldwide.

We aim to facilitate and endorse a belief that vocational training will offer youth the chance to secure jobs faster, to be self-reliant and establish their own businesses.
We believe that we are restoring hope and creating smiles in the lives of these youth.

Teaching Rural Women To Save

Saving provides a financial backstop for life’s uncertainties and increases feelings of security and peace of mind.

Once an adequate emergency fund is established, savings can also provide the seed money for higher-yielding investments such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.

Saving money is one of the essential aspects of building wealth and having a secure financial future. Saving money gives you a way out of the uncertainties of life and provides you with an opportunity to enjoy a quality life.

Putting aside a sum of money in a systematic manner can help you steer out of many hurdles and obstacles in life.

Sewing Skills For Women & Girls

This project give skills training in tailoring, embroidery, and fashion design courses for sustainable livelihoods to women, girls &PWDs. With this vocational skills training, women, girls &PWDs live with dignity by earning money themselves.

During this training, women, girls &PWDs learn and develop skills in tailoring & embroidery to work on sarees and blouse pieces. We provide sewing machines and tool kits to survive on their own and live with dignity.

We change livesand restore hopes in the name of Jesus Christ.
